Holiday Inn Hotel 4485 Gateway Blvd NW, EdmontonThe IEEE Northern Canada Section annual general meeting will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at the Holiday Inn Conference Centre (Elm Room) 4485 Gateway Blvd NW, Edmonton, AB, T6H 5C5. This is your opportunity to participate in the functioning of the Section and meet with Section executives. You may register for a free, modest meal (6pm) or just attend the AGM (7pm) (select none for meal). Please RSVP by Saturday, January 11 at 5pm. Annual IEEE Northern Canada Section BBQ
Emily Murphy Park 11904 Emily Murphy Park Rd NW, EdmontonJoin us Saturday, July 27, for the annual IEEE Northern Canada Section Barbeque at Emily Murphy Park Site 1 (11904 Emily Murphy Park Rd NW) in Edmonton from noon to 2 pm. This event is 'free' to IEEE members and their families. In order to reduce the number of no-shows, we are charging $10 per adult and you will then be refunded your $10 at the venue. Please indicate the number of children attending in the 'Special Requests' field. There will be hamburgers (meat, halal and vegetarian) as well as soft drinks and snacks. This is a sheltered site with an adjacent open space so bring your Frisbees, Soccer balls, etc. Registration closes Thursday, July 25 at 5 pm. Hope to see you there.
